As a qualified counsellor and member of the BACP, I aim to offer a safe and understanding space for people to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I believe the support of others helps us to face challenges in our lives and I hope to lend my support to build up resilience and strength in those I meet with.

I offer an open and non-judgemental approach to problem solving and exploration of past and present emotional pain. No subject is off limits, but I commonly deal with the issues listed below:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety & Stress
  • Trauma & Abuse
  • Relationship issues
  • Body confidence & Sexuality
  • Bereavement & Loss

I am happy to work with people on a short-term solution focused approach or longer term person-centred therapy. With both approaches, sessions are 60 minutes and we generally meet weekly at the same time each week.

I want counselling to be accessible and affordable for everyone, so fees operate on a sliding scale based on personal income (starting at £25 per hour). The first session is a free initial consultation to see if I am the right fit for you. I can also provide Skype sessions for those unable to attend sessions in person.

Please get in touch to discuss an initial meeting. If I’m not the right fit for you, then I will be very happy to point you in the direction of other supportive people and organisations. There is no obligation to continue counselling if it doesn’t feel right for you at this time.
